You'll find dog friendly everything, including; shopping, lodging, restaurants, beaches, parks, hiking, spas and much, much more.
OUR GOAL is to get all you dog loving travelers out there to get online and share your favorite places, products and adventures with each other . . . ultimately giving all of us that many more places to know about so we can get on the road and start planning our next trip!

The Dog Travel Channel is the video production and broadcast division of the Dog Travel Network and produces all the Dog Travel Network video series branded with the Dog Travel Channel and Network names including; Follow That Dog, Ultimate Canine Adventures, featured city, event and product review spots and other DTN video series.

Our Leader of the Pack is Makena, a mix breed extraordinaire, the inspiration for both the Dog Travel Network and the Dog Travel Channel. He became part of the family in mid September 1998. He was about 6 weeks old waiting with his two sisters at the Lowell Humane Society in Massachusetts for someone to adopt him. Lucky us, we picked him and he has been the perfect pooch ever since. He was so well behaved from day one that it was easy to take him places. Immediately he was welcomed into the homes of all our friends and family and even by Steve the owner of our favorite bar, Punter’s Pub in Boston!
Makena has lived in Massachusetts, Ohio, California and Florida…the boy gets around! He has crossed the United States by car four times and driven up and down the east coast three times with countless road trips all over the place in between. He has seen many of our country’s natural wonders and great monuments including the Rocky Mountains, the Smokey Mountains, the Grand Canyon, the Bad Lands, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Old Faithful, Garden of the Gods, the Hoover Dam and way too many more to list.
Makena just absolutely loves to travel, even if it’s just to the local dog park, dog beach, for a bite to eat at a local restaurant or even just to socialize at one of his favorite local dog friendly bars, Skip’s Bar & Grill or the Dunedin Brewery in Dunedin Florida. He just likes to get out and go!
